1991-2007 16th Anniversary
14th to 15th June (Sat/Sun)
We’ve negotiated the exclusive use of the facility and a special group rate for the Airkix adventure session which includes a fun briefing and instruction period, free locker hire, free use of the flying gear and a three minute flight in the freefall tunnel (BTW - you’d need to be at least
10,000 feet up to get anywhere near that time in the air in a normal sky-dive!!). Our session will be videoed and put onto a DVD and still photos will also be available for purchase.
We’ll be staying at the nearby Holiday Inn (10 minute walk), which is also equipped with a swimming pool, sauna, Fitness centre, a 24 hour bar (don’t

suppose we’ll be in there at all) and its own restaurant. There’s also behind-barrier parking on the hotel premises.
The intention is to leave Surrey early Saturday morning, arriving in Milton Keynes in time to get to Airkix BEFORE lunch, which will then leave you free to do your own thing during the afternoon at the Xscape centre. Anyone for snowboarding??
We’ll take dinner in a local restaurant (maybe even at the hotel) and then head off back towards Surrey about midday Sunday. The route home will be more leisurely and scenic and will probably be via Aylesbury to Windsor where we can finish up the weekend by mid-afternoon at a nice riverside pub.
Approximate Costs : Accommodation has been negotiated at £59 per room (including VAT and breakfast) irrespective of single or double occupancy. The Airkix experience is £45 per person. Also allow about £25-£30 per person for Saturday dinner, plus any other incidental meals, drinks, activities etc.
The package price has been structured around 40 people being in attendance so please book early to avoid disappointment! I also need to let the hotel know numbers fairly soon in order to guarantee the rooms will be held at that rate.
