Due to the cancellation of the brand new ferry at Swansea we will now be leaving  Burger King, Guilford in two bunches on Wednesday afternoon and evening for the 4 hour ride to the Premier Inn, Bridgend. The next day we ride to catch the Pembroke to Rosslare ferry and stay at Rosslare eating at the Lobster Pot Seafood Bar in Kilmour Key.

On Friday we ride west to Bantry via Cork and then over the Barraboy mountains to the Ring of Kerry where we will stay one night at the market town of Kenmare. Dinner that evening will be at Packies restaurant in the town. Our second day will take us along the Ring of Kerry to Killarney and then on to Tarbert for the ferry to Killmer. At Killmer we will be meet by our very own Paula Churchward who will escort us to her cottage for tea and scones before going to our guesthouse at Ennis. In the evening we will eat at Zucchini in Ennis and then Paula will show us some of the drinking holes, some with music in the many lively bars to be found in Ennis, we will have a good nights sleep. Those up early on the Sunday will enjoy a ride to the Cliffs of Moher and through the Burren towards Galway before returning to Ennis. In the evening, Paula has agreed to put on the finest BBQ in Ireland before taking us to her local, the Boree Log for some of the black stuff.

The ride on Monday is 160 miles and passes through the scenic countryside around Tipperary and the Glen of Aherlow before arriving at Rosslare our last stop in Ireland. Dinner that evening will be taken at the Silver Fox at Kilmour Key.

A good night sleep will be had by all before boarding the 08:00 am ferry the next day for Pembroke. Riding to Surrey should take around 5 hours.

 The cost of this 7 day tour with 6 nights B&B including ferry will be in the region of £400 for sole riders and £600 for couples depending on the exchange rate.
